Through the scanDoX commandline
interface it's easy to create a remote application.
You might be able to scan via a webbrowser, or any other possible
interface with which you are able to set up commands on a
remote machine.
An example for this remote scanning via TCP/IP is InSane.
InSane is an application
we wrote. InSane stands for
IntraNet-Scanner-Access-Now-Easy.
InSane accesses the commandline-interface
via the CGI-Interface of the Apache-Web-Server running on
the scan-server.
The scanned images are provided as normal download files.
